The Chewelah Valley Fresh Market is soooo excited to welcome Peasant Milk to our growing list of wonderful farmers. Peasant Milk is a WSDA Grade A Raw Cow's Milk dairy producing creamy, delicious raw, unpasteurized milk.
Peasant Milk is a small dairy farm located just outside Chewelah city limits, and is home to 'mostly content' Jersey cows, (except for the one that just freshened and thinks shes training for the rodeo).
They believe healthy soil equals healthy grasses, healthy grasses equal healthy cows, which produce healthy nutrient-dense food for you and your family.
Peasant Milk uses a rotational grazing operation, dedicated to feeding only fresh seasonal grasses and free-choice natural minerals such as kelp, Sea-90, etc. Winter feed consists of locally grown alfalfa/grass hay from farmers with holistic management practices. They use no toxic rescue chemistry on their cows or in their fields.
