What a lovely way to spend the day last Saturday- outside in the fresh spring air at the Annual Earth Day Fair in Chewelah. St. Paul Lutheran Church always does it up right and there were plenty of folks strolling through to check out the vendors.
The Chewelah Valley Fresh Market set up shop to spread the word about the wonders of local food. Many brochures and business cards were handed out, and Betsy from Pine Tree Produce brought down some robust tomato plants for sale, and they certainly helped to 'green up' the CVFM booth!
Bob and I man the CVFM booth, spreading the word about local goodness!
Earth Day Fair goers were graced with beautiful Eastern Washington skies.
Andrea and Eli from Little Shadow Soaps displayed many of their wonderful products, including their handcrafted liquid soap.
Andrew from Simple Gifts Farm holds down the fort. You can just see some of Celeste's beautiful molded soaps on the table on the left. They smell divine!
